  • Women’s World Day of Prayer

This day of Prayer is the first Friday of March each year. The service is written by an ecumenical group of women from a different country each year. Holy Rood is represented on the group from the town centre and Old Town that organises the annual day of prayer in our area. The Service is held in a different church each year in the morning of the first Friday of March. Posters giving details can be seen on the church notice boards in February. All members of the parish whether male or female are invited to participate. A number of members of the parish support this event and take part in the Service. Please contact Noreen Bint for more information or to offer help with reading, singing etc.
